BENNY BLESSED

A trap gospel artist from West Oakland, California. Both street and book smart, Be-Naiah, aka Benny Blessed, has experienced life growing up in the hood and has benefitted from earning a football scholarship to a private college. With dreams of being rich and famous, he was derailed after being introduced to the gospel. Struggling with this new conviction, life became confusing. "I was willing to sell my soul to help my people, but something would not let me." Using all he knew, he became the director of a Music and Arts School in Oakland and helped guide youth for 17 years. The pandemic closed his school and he launched his graphic design business full time but he had more in him still. Now as the Executive Director of a Music and Arts Center, Be-Naiah is ready to focus on his music career now that he understands how God wants him to use his gifts and talents for the kingdom and to help people!
